Vintage typography in the desert’s most vibrant boneyard

If you’re a typography nerd like me – or really love architecture, history, color, or fun tour guides – you need to visit The Neon Museum next time you’re in Las Vegas. This place has been on my list for a while now, and we finally got a chance to tour the boneyard a couple weeks ago. It was also my first official vacation with Ryan’s family celebrating his baby brother’s 21st birthday, so we wanted to make it an extra fun trip! I managed to convince the whole crew that an 8:30 AM tour of the neon museum would be an awesome idea, ha. The signs did not disappoint and we all agreed it was so worth the early morning wake-up call.

It’s gonna be MAY + let’s talk about creating a routine

All memes aside, I really do love the month of May. We’re into the second quarter of the year, crushing business goals – or maybe redefining some of those things we set out to accomplish back in January. May is also one of my favorite times to work on goal-setting because it’s my birthday month!…

How to grow your business by setting measurable goals

Before you get started taking on clients or selling products, it’s important to know where you’re going and how you’ll get there. My world revolved around sketching out ideas on graph paper and fumbling my way through Adobe Illustrator, tweaking every little anchor point on my design in hopes of turning it into…

I have a love-hate relationship with planners. You know, the ones that are absolutely gorgeous but fail to send me notifications on my phone ๐Ÿ˜‰ Now don’t get me wrong here. I love beautiful paper planners, but this is the first year that I didn’t rush out the door to buy one because I knew…

February’s desktop calendar

Happy February! Ok, I’m going to be totally honest here. It’s been a rough few weeks with the #resistance, and I’ve been struggling with finding the right words to express how I feel. Outside of my client work, it’s been difficult to want to create anything for fun. However, design is how I share my…

January’s Desktop Calendar

I love starting the year off with a fresh set of goals and lots of reflection on what worked (and didn’t work) in the previous year. I’m working on a full recap of 2016 + my goals for this new year (YAY!) But in the meantime, freshen up your desktop with a new 2017 calendar….

Garden Wedding Invitations

I love it when my brides have amazing color palettes in mind for their stationery suite. Kemberly and Stephen’s coral and emerald wedding invitations have a lovely vintage vibe like they belong right in an Anthropologie catalog.
